Good tea got hard to find. We're bringing it back.

Since Teavana left the mall, there are few places left to buy really good loose-leaf tea. TeaBreak is a Maryland family business that will source it directly from China and make brewing it as easy as making coffee. Same leaves, same respect for the ritual, without the extra steps.

Our family spent decades in restaurants and hospitality. TeaBreak is our next table.

Why merch first?

We're paying for our first harvest the honest way: one sticker, tee and cap at a time. Every order goes into the harvest fund. When it fills, we place our first order of loose-leaf tea, and everyone on the list gets first dibs.

Meet Oolong

Oolong is our cat. He holds his tea, keeps his scarf on and is never in a hurry. Tea is the break, not another chore.

茶歇

Chá xiē is the everyday Chinese word for a tea break. We stamp it on everything we make, like a painter's seal.
